Acquisitions Afternoon
Tuesday, May 28th
2pm - 5pm
Join us at SNH Antiques for an Afternoon of Acquisitions where we will meet with you privately and potentially make you an offer for the purchase of your smaller pieces. Please do not bring large or bulky items to the event without first having sent us a digital image to review and having received prior approval.
Please ensure your item(s) are French and/ or European and in pristine to excellent condition.
Please note the following:
We will meet with each party in the order of arrival.
We will acquire, as appropriate, until the Acquisitions Fund for the event has been exhausted.
We will meet with each party privately for a maximum of 15 minutes.
If we deem that a follow-up consultation is required, we will book it separately for a later date.
If we are unable to meet with you either due to time limitations or having reached sufficient acquisitions for the day - we will formally book you for the following Acquisitions Event & place you at the front of the queue.
Please ensure that all sterling silver is polished and that crystal, china & porcelain pieces are fully cleaned prior to arrival.

An Evening of Appraisals

You are cordially invited to an Evening of Appraisals at SNH Antiques.
Join us for refreshments & appetizers while we share the significance of that treasure or heirloom you’ve always been curious about. Discover the history, provenance, and value of your unique piece in a one-on-one appraisal.
The cost is $50 per person and includes the appraisal of one item (usually a $200+ service). Limited tickets are available.

About Timothy Stenger, Senior Appraiser
Timothy first found his love of the collectibles market as his father’s scribe at the age of 11 dutifully recording auction hammer prices while his father would bid at auction in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Following studies abroad in London and Rome during graduate school, Tim was admitted to Sotheby’s prestigious Decorative Arts Course in New York immersing him in the mechanics of collecting and identifying all aspects of collecting. Pursuing his love of the field, he has worked for some of the nation’s top auction houses including Sotheby’s, Hindman Auctioneers, LLC, Cowan's Auctions of Cincinnati and EBTH (Everything But The House). Tim has participated in multiple Appraisal Events providing appraisals as part of fundraisers for the Friends Foundation in conjunction with the Denver Public Library on behalf of Caring Transitions. Tim was also prominently featured as an appraiser for the annual Colorado Collectibles event aired by Colorado Public Television CPT 12. He has completed over $175 Million in appraisals for private and corporate clients as well as financial institutions and works extensively with banks, trusts, insurance companies, and attorneys who require assistance in the process of aiding their clients. Since 1994, Tim has maintained his office in Denver and three years ago opened an additional office in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
